Last few days I have tried to re-engage with #Stripe as a merchant service for the site. Not so I could charge for anything. I will in the future need to pay for more resources and other stuff so I am planning ahead. This is a good practice to have in your "tool box". The first time I was vague and just wanted to ask. They responded as I expected and I left it as it. I lost and moved on. I took several months and last week I had an idea. I would use their own bragging against them. The short is that it didn't work. The path I took was taking all of the companies they highlight on their site and capture those #brands selling marijuana products or services. I linked them up and compared them to what we are doing here. I did several to show that these weren't "one-offs" and yet they emailed me back and told me that I had a very convincing argument to be had. They still said no and told me that we are on the list to use them when it's federally legal. I don't want to burn bridges but I want to make a point. I want to take as many businesses that use Stripe and highlight their marijuana sales & services. I will write an article outlining my argument and then it will live on the site forever. I also want to do this for other companies like Stripe. The only difference is that TMF is nothing, nobody, and has high risk. I wanted to add a premium #membership to those who want to donate to the cause. Not for extra services, but just to say they are supporters of the community. I am not looking for the sell out. That's not why I created this. I figured I would share my intent in the finance section. If you know a company that uses stripe as a payment gateway and they sell anything related to marijuana please link it in a reply. I want to build an actual article that highlights the hypocrisy of establishment banking.
