Hey, I'm new to all of this, but I need some new tunes to listen to while I lay outside and smoke my bowl and enjoy these beautiful rays from the sun! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated ☀️

How about something classic, never-to-go-outta style??
    Sly and the Family Stone
    Marley
    Janis Joplin

You could also rent Woodstock and take your pick of tunes from the stage. ;-) Whatever you listen to, enjoy that sun and the fabulous Vitamin D!! No seasonal affective disorder [SAD] for you!!!

I've been hooked on Pandora and really enjoy my classic rock station. But when that gets old I listen to newer music my kids introduced me to, Daft Punk, Lady Gaga and Pink stations have been good for modern music.

If you don't mind a suggestion...I recommend a classic from the 60's....Cat Steven's Tea For the Tillerman. I'm off to put it on now....I don't know what it is about Cat Steven's but I never tire of this CD. Search for Sugarman is good too. [A documentary of a singer/players path to fame in Africa...its of huge importance, imho]. I love Sugarman's music. And, then there's the blues....I'll go now. Oh...thanks for asking. I'm reminded to turn the music on at those special times.

    Jimmy buffet.
    Johnny Paycheck.

    And when blazing,
    Try, "Switched on Bach", 1970.
Moog synthesizer with tremendous balance effects. Crank it up.

Beach House is good for low tempo smoothness - girl singer
Kiln is good for spacy atmospheric smileyness - all instrumental
Bibio has melodic upbeat sounds, but still chill (check out lover's carvings for something super nice) - dude singer
Greyboy Allstars for some jazzy rock jams - instrumental

    enjoy!

    After further thoughts....
    Beach, sun, BLAZING.

Quiet is good. Ocean waves crashing.
    (I be like Zzzzzzz)

Roll over and stick a couple of sea shells over ears.
Modify a 3rd shell into a toke bowl.

For full effect, add two clam shells over eyes.
    Don't worry you look marvelous.

    I FEEL MARVELOUS.

just downloaded an app called "white noise" that provides a bunch of background noise. a grandfather clock, an airconditioner (my favorite for sleeping in a room next to a party), dryer, chimes, oscillating fan, dishwasher, and cars driving (for the city people displaced amongst the trees).
Pretty awesome music alternative for when I am yearning to space out o_O
