It's finally time to top our beautiful little girls and what better time then now to make a "how to" video. Topping and FIMMing are methods developed for indoor growers. Topping your cannabis plants will lead to multiple cola plants that can produce much larger buds in a smaller space.

Topping is fairly simple and all you have to do is cut the new growth of your cannabis plant just above a branching node. This will stop your main branch from continuing growth and will force the cannabis plant to focus energy on your lower node branches.

FIMMing is very similar to Topping and was accidentally discovered by someone who did not get a full cut when Topping. FIMMing is unique in that it can allow even more tops to form than Topping. FIMMing can sometimes get you 3 or 4 main cola tops.

Both FIMMing and Topping are ways to manipulate your cannabis plant in order to make it produce more flowers. Topping and FIMMing can be used in combination with other trading methods such as LST or limited stress training. Check out our video below as well as our before and after photos from Topping and FIMMing our cannabis plants.

Awesome tutorial on this! I also added the video in the media gallery under the How To category. You are welcome to add any videos you have there as well. I can't change the ownership of the media item unless I go into the database so if you want to add it under your name I will delete the one I did.

I have seen lots of questions on topping. Hopefully, this helps build your channel and gives newer growers some good info and better yields!
